A limit is a border, a demarcation that annotates territories, ideas and concepts. One might say that a limit is moral. On the other hand, a boundary is kept within an indefinite territory and is diffuse. It is always situated at the edge of the thing that is expressed. It is not dogmatic. Essentially, this is the put this series together. The monotypes presented create a set of relationships that blur the limits, extending and appropriating (or causing) new visions, readings and interpretations. A dialog of intentions open: inside out, emptiness/abundance, static/dynamic, real/mental, reality/illusion. The work attempts to create tensions, to generate doubts, to open questions and, simultaneously, a relation is activated in the presence of the spectator. It’s a question of definitively relating the real, the mental and representational, or, in other words to question what we call reality and how we perceive it, interpret and represent it.
