The abundant and varied work of Cristina Iglesias (San Sebastián, 1956) brings together architectural environments and works based on photography that combine texture, material, light and shade. In Iglesias' work, the intentional ambiguity and the immediate presence of the spectator combine to create a nuanced form of interaction with the architectural sites.

Cristina Iglesias_Aquarium II
One of Cristina Iglesias' most famous works is her underwater sculpture in Baja California. Known for adapting to environmental changes, Iglesias celebrates the erosion of her sculptures. Since then, the submerged work has become a reef and home for water fauna.
